Daley spent close to $700m to renovate Soldier Field for the Chicago Bears, shrinking dimensions and seating capacity, no longer can be used for track-n-field and makes a new stadium necessary for hundreds of millions more.
Chicago's Corruption Problems
From chronic corruption to the hired truck scandals and torture allegations under the Daley administration, several people close to Daley have been indicted or are under federal investigation. Many believe Daley is pursuing the Olympic bid to distract from the corruption investigations and wants us to think he's needed for the long-term. U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald may have the final say on the end of Daley's reign.

Daley violated FAA notice regulations regarding closing an airport and MISAPPROPRIATED (THATS STEALING) FEDERAL AVIATION FUNDS to destroy a public transportation asset. The FAA investigation resulted in multi-million dollar fines being levied against city funds. Meigs was the only place in the downtown area where fully loaded C130 cargo planes could land in case of a catastrophe in Chicago. Daley is a thug!
